Facial Hot Wax Set

This set includes everything you need to complete a full face wax at home! The Face and Lip Hot Wax is ideal for a strip-free wax, and the oil soothes the skin after your wax!

HOW TO USE

  • Heating

    1. Heat wax on an electric stove, hot plate, or cup warmer on the lowest setting. NEVER leave the waxing unattended and NEVER heat on a gas stove or on an open flame. Product is FLAMMABLE, DO NOT overheat.
    2. The wax consistency should be like thick honey. Only half-melt the wax and mix until smooth.
    3. Test the temperature before use as the wax may be HOT. If the wax is runny, it is too hot- give it a few minutes to cool down.

    Apply

    1. Check direction of hair growth and work in small sections.
    2. Apply the wax in a thick layer in the direction of hair growth, making sure to work in small sections. On the upper lip, start on the corner of your mouth and spread toward the middle of your upper lip. Only wax one side of the upper lip at a time.
    3. Use the flat side of the spatula to apply wax. Wipe the spatula on edge of pot to prevent drips. Make the edges of the wax thicker for easier removal.

    Zip Off

    1. Even out the wax with your fingers when wax is pliable but not sticky. Do not let the wax harden or it may break or be difficult to remove.
    2. Keep your skin taut with one hand.
    3. Peel off the wax by lifting the outer edge near the corner of your mouth and pull quickly in the OPPOSITE direction of hair growth.

    Clean Up & Aftercare

    1. After you're finished waxing, apply Parissa Ultra Soothe Oil to soothe skin and prevent ingrown hair.

Hot Wax FAQs:

Nope! This is a hard wax — it sets on the skin and lifts off on its own. No strips needed.

Use a microwave (about 20 seconds) or the Parissa Wax Warmer. Stir until it reaches a thick, honey-like texture.

Yes! It’s ideal for short, stubborn hairs and works especially well on the upper lip, chin, and brows.

Because it removes hair from the root, you can expect smooth skin for up to 4 weeks.

Warm wax (also called soft wax) is removed with fabric strips and is ideal for larger, less sensitive areas. Hard wax is applied thickly and removed without strips—it hardens on the skin and is better suited for sensitive areas like the bikini line or face.
