How to Wax Your Arms and Legs

How to Wax Your Arms and Legs

There’s no better feeling than having smooth legs under soft sheets. The only way to stay stubble-free is by waxing. Luckily, waxing your arms and legs is a breeze. Here’s why: 1) arms and legs are the easiest to reach 2) require less precision 3) is a less sensitive area to wax.

You aren’t a one-size-fits-all kind of gal and your waxing products should reflect that. Everything from your hair type, skin type, to your level of experience can help determine your winning product. Our Waxing Team has handpicked our top three waxing products for arms and legs waxing. Each designed to help with your individual waxing needs.

If you have fine to medium hair or you have sensitive skin…

Parissa Organic Wax is what you want. This gentle wax is a sugar-based wax. It is made with organic cane sugar, water, citric acid, and chamomile extracts. Sugar wax also means that it is washable. To clean up wax residues, simply wash it off with warm water and soap.

How To Use: Parissa Organic Wax

  1. Warm wax gently by either placing in the microwave for 20 seconds or place on Parissa Wax Warmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Once the wax is at liquid honey consistency, apply a paper-thin layer of wax in direction of hair growth.
  3. Firmly press on the fabric strip, in the direction of hair growth.
  4. While keeping skin taut, zip away strip in the opposite direction of hair growth.

If you have thick hair or previously shaved hair…

Parissa Warm Wax is the winner. This salon-style wax provides professional quality results on stubborn hair. It’s easy to use and simple to warm up. Just put it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or place it on the wax warmer for 40 minutes.

A few general waxing tips to ensure you have great arms & legs waxing sessions:

  • Be sure that your leg hair is at least ¼ of an inch long or ½ cm. This will ensure that the wax will have something to grab ahold of.
  • Always zip the strip parallel to the skin. Do not pull upwards.
  • Use Azulene Oil to soothe and moisturizes the skin after waxing for best results.
