How to Use

  • Heating

    1. Remove the cap and seal from the jar.
    2. Place on a microwavable dish in centre of microwave.
    3. Microwave the wax on high for 30 seconds. Microwaves can vary so heat in 10 sec increments. Do not handle the jar as it may be HOT. The wax consistency should be liquid.
    4. Stir wax well with spatula. Test temperature before use as wax may be hot. Wax should be fluid but never too hot to burn. Parissa Wax Warmer can be used for heating.

    Apply

    1. Apply wax in a thin layer in the direction of hair growth- on your legs, this is downward towards your foot. The less wax you use, the better the results.
    2. To spread the wax, use the edge of the spatula.

    Zip Off

    1. Press on the epilation strip firmly down on the wax you applied.
    2. Keeping the skin taut at the bottom of your leg, grab the end of the strip closest to your foot.
    3. Zip off the epilation strip as quickly as possible.
    4. Always keep your hand close to skin and always pull along the skin. Never pull and away from skin as this will irritate, bruise or lift the skin.

    Caution! Read First

    • ALWAYS do a patch test. Wait 24hr and if no irritation occurs, continue.
    • HAIR MUST be 2mm or longer for best results.
    • WASH & DRY SKIN before use.
    • DO NOT WAX sensitive, sunburned, irritated or injured skin.
    • AVOID varicose veins, moles & warts.
    • DO NOT sunbathe before or after waxing.
    • DO NOT use deodorants, antiperspirants, alcohols, astringents or any beauty products for 24hr on waxed areas.
    • IMPROPER USE like pulling wax up or away from skin & waxing same area more than once in 24hr will cause irritation, bruising or skin lifting.

    2. To spread the wax, use the edge of the spatula.
    3. Apply the epilation strip and smooth down.

    Zip Off

    1. Keep skin taut with one hand and grab the end of the strip near the corner of your mouth.
    2. Zip off the epilation strip as quickly as possible in the opposite direction of hair growth.
    3. Always keep hand close to skin and always pull along skin. NEVER pull the strip up and never pull away from skin as this can irritate, bruise or lift the skin.

Parissa's Body Sugar is infused with Chamomile to help soothe sensitive skin. Perfect for all-over use, sugar wax can be used for face, body and bikini. Excess wax washes away with warm water. Parissa’s fabric epilation strips are made with recycled materials and are also reusable. Simply spread on wax, apply the epilation strip and zip off. Kit comes with everything you need to get the perfect at-home wax.

Natural Ingredients

Sugar -Gentle, natural exfoliant. 100% water-soluble. Your clothes and your skin are totally safe around the sugar wax from both staining and damage. The paste is easily washed away after sugaring with lukewarm water – you don’t even need soap or abrasive pads.

Chamomile Extract -Extracted from chamomile flowers, chamomile extract is known to reduce inflammation, soothes after-waxing redness and helps prevent ingrown hair.

Water -H20

Citric Acid -Citrus extract is a natural preservative and helps preserves our sugar waxes.
