Tips When Using Hot Wax

Tips When Using Hot Wax

If the hot wax stretches when you are removing it, you’re most likely not letting the wax cool for long enough. Make sure to only remove the wax if it cools enough not to be tacky to the touch.

If the hot wax cracks when trying to take it off, you’re most likely applying too thin of a layer for it to remove easily. Hard/Hot Wax should be applied in a thick layer for it to work best.

And if the Hot wax is gets everywhere, it’s probably a bit too hot. Let it cool for a minute or two and when the wax stays on the spatula without quickly running off, it’s ready to use. Hot/Hard wax can be messy at times, so we suggest before waxing putting down an old towel or sheet that you don’t mind getting dirty.
