Here at Parissa, we’re committed to packaging our products with sustainably sourced materials that don’t end up in landfills.
Our boxes and instruction sheets are made with wood harvested from responsibly managed forests certified by either Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Our jars are made with the most commonly accepted plastic by recycling centres.
The clear backing or “substrate” of the Parissa Wax Strips is not plastic, but a coated cellulose film, known as Cellophane. Unlike plastic film, which is made from oil, cellulose films are made from natural, renewable sources such as wood, cotton or hemp. Cellophane films are degradable and regarded as an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic films.
Our epilation strips are made from recycled materials.
