5 Ways To Get Ready For A Date

August 13, 2019

Getting ready for a date can be intimidating! We have put together a list of some of the most effective ways to calm down, look good, and feel good.

  1. #SELFCARE.Making time for yourself is the most effective beauty secret and it’s free!

Don’t leave things to the last minute. Put on your favourite robe & slippers and pour yourself some sparkling wine! Have fun while doing your makeup and hair. Treat yourself like the goddess you truly are.

  2. Choose the right tool: Parissa Brow Pen.

Everyone hates the way they look in the magnifying mirror, they’re so unforgiving. But on a positive note, you can see everything…which is great when you have the right tool for brow grooming. . The Brow Pen is perfect for quick touch-ups that can make your brows look absolutely fire. The process is pretty quick - warm the brow pen, apply the wax on the hairs you want removed, press on the epilation strip, and pull that sucker off. Now you are ready to go!

  3. Listen to some tunes.

Music enhances all activities, so we highly recommend blasting your favourite tunes when getting ready. Your roommates may hate you for it, but it’s all in the name of love. Not only will the music hype you up for your night out, but it’ll boost your confidence and help you get your groove on.

  4. Check out your outfit a few hours before the date.

Yes, we have all been there. You’ve picked the perfect outfit for the night and 10 minutes before dressing, you notice a stain or ridiculous wrinkles. Avoid that mess, girl and try on the outfit well before your date. No one wants to be begging friends for an alternative outfit at the last minute.

  5. Brush your teeth.

This may sound like a silly reminder since everyone brushes their teeth at some point in the day. But since most dates happen at the end of the day, it’s a good idea to freshen your breath before heading out. Do your date a favour and brush away the coffee smell or that falafel wrap you had for lunch before heading out.
