I have really sensitive skin on my arms, but I really want to wax them. I've had them waxed before, but they get these bumps all over that last a long time. I have light skin, and the hair is really dark (it's not that thick, I would say it's medium) Which wax do you suggest?
There are many different hair removal methods to consider... Waxing is great if you need immediate results, and from my experience, the more you wax, the thinner your hair should grow in. If you're looking for a more permanent solution, there are a few procedures that are considerably more costly than waxing. So if you're young and don't have much money in the piggy bank, then you should definitely stick to waxing. Whatever you do, don't shave! It'll make the hairs grow in thicker!
If your skin is sensitive and the hair is medium thickness, I'd suggest Parissa Chamomile Body Sugar http://parissa.com/catalog/product/chamomile-body-sugar because it's gentle on skin while still being quite effective (even on thick hair like mine). It's also water washable - which means any reside or stickiness simply rinses away with warm water.
With respect to the bumps you describe - if you get them right away, I suggest practicing your technique and making certain that you spread the sugar paper thin and very quickly pull the fabric strip back along your skin, not up and away. Also, be sure to use the vial of blue liquid that is in your kit - this is Azulene Oil and it is specially designed to sooth and calm your skin after waxing. Here's one of our How-To Videos to show you: http://parissa.com/learn/videos/chamomile-body-sugar
If you get them after several days or weeks, then the problem is likely that you need to exfoliate - get yourself a soft loofa sponge or one of those shower puff-scrubbies and use it regularly on any area you have waxed. This will help prevent ingrown hairs and keep your smooth skin lovely and soft.
Please be sure to let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Waxing is an excellent method for removing hair in certain areas on your body but like you said it can cause bumps and irritation. Hopefully the body sugar treatment mentioned in the other comment works without irritation but if not, there are other hair removal methods that you can try. I am curious to hear how your experience was with the body sugar treatment, did you get a chance to try it yet? Did it affect your skin at all?
